|INFLUENZA PANDEMIC: LEARN THE FACTS, KNOW THE
RISKS, BE READY!
According to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),
planning for Pandemic flu is critical. In the event of Pandemic
flu, businesses will play a key role in protecting employees'
health and safety as well as limiting the negative impact to the
economy and society.
Addressing AVIAN INFLUENZA: FACING NEW GLOBAL CHALLENGES
will be speaker John Dowd, health educator risk
communicator, Middlesex County Public Health Department. Paul
Carden, director emergency services and Kathleen Pearson,
director health and safety services, both with the American Red
Cross of Central New Jersey, will discuss CONSIDERATIONS FOR
INDIVIDUAL & BUSINESS PREPAREDNESS
